Daniel Dubois storms ring after Oleksandr Usyk's win over Tyson Fury to demand undisputed 'revenge' fight
Daniel Dubois charged into the ring following Oleksandr Usyk's victory over Tyson Fury, calling for a rematch and seeking "revenge" in what might turn into another fight for the undisputed heavyweight championship.
Usyk delivered another outstanding performance, defeating Fury by points for the second time in 2024. He successfully defended his WBO, WBA, and WBC titles, earning a unanimous decision from the judges in Riyadh.
IBF champion Dubois, who secured an impressive knockout victory against Anthony Joshua at Wembley in September, is aiming to make up for what he called a "theft" after losing to Usyk in Poland in 2023.
Usyk defeated Dubois with a knockout in the ninth round, but Dubois claimed he was "robbed" of the win after he had knocked the Ukrainian down with a body shot in the fifth round. The referee, however, called it a low blow and granted Dubois extra time to recover.

"Usyk! I’m seeking retribution!" Dubois declared, cutting into Usyk's post-fight interview on Saturday night.
Great job tonight! Wishing you all the best.
"I’m seeking to get back at them for the theft that happened before."
"Let's do this! Where's Frank [Warren]? Let's make it a reality!"
Dubois' choice to enter the ring following Usyk's victory in such a significant match raises eyebrows. It seems even stranger considering that the British fighter needs to focus on a challenging title defense against former world champion Joseph Parker on February 22.

Usyk remained calm despite Dubois' provocations and directed his attention to Turki Alalshikh, the key person orchestrating Saudi Arabia's influence in the boxing scene, requesting him to arrange the fight.
Usyk stated, "Your Excellency, I would like to request a match against Daniel Dubois. Thank you very much."
When he was asked later in the interview about the potential match, he responded, "I'm all set. After taking a break, I’ll be prepared."
McGuigan: Usyk Will Stop Dubois Again
Shane McGuigan, who previously coached Daniel Dubois, mentioned that he believes Usyk would win if he faced Dubois again.
At 27 years old, he has revitalized his career by scoring decisive victories against Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic, and Joshua following his loss to Usyk in August 2023.

McGuigan shared with Sky Sports, "I think he did really well in the first match. Daniel has matured a lot since then. He's gained a lot of confidence and has achieved some impressive victories."
"As the match progressed, Usyk gained the upper hand. He understood his opponent's movements and started controlling the pace. He pushed him back and connected with quick, precise strikes."
"Daniel is a top-notch fighter who needs to land his punches and inflict damage, but he was struggling to connect."
He landed a good body shot, but I really don't think he can alter the result of the first fight.
"I think Usyk will win against him once more, possibly even before the fight goes the full distance."
