Siva Kaneswaran may be used to performing on stage but how will he fare on the ice? He is one of eleven celebrities set to lace up their skates every Sunday night on Dancing On Ice.
The hit ITV skating show has returned for another series with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield back as hosts. The cast of 2022 will be hoping to impress viewers as well as the all-star judging panel - skating legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, Diversity star Ashley Banjo and former Strictly pro Oti Mabuse.
When he takes to the ice, Siva will be up against EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer, footballer John Fashanu, Love Island winner Ekin-Su Culculoglu, Olympic gymnast Nile Wilson, and Coronation Street star Mollie Gallagher. Also completing the grand-new line-up are drag queen The Vivienne, reality TV star Joey Essex, comedian Darren Harriott, West End star and former Hollyoaks actress Carley Stenson, and Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton.

While Siva is likely to have his legions of fans voting for him, some may not be familiar with the singer. The 34-year-old is best known for being a fifth of The Wanted. The boyband - that also featured members Max George, Jay McGuiness, Nathan Sykes and, until his tragic death in 2022, Tom Parker - shot to fame in 2009.
During their time together the boys had 10 top 10 singles and two UK number ones. The Wanted split in 2014, however, in 2021, the band reunited after Tom was diagnosed with a brain tumour. They performed together for the first time since reuniting at a special charity gig at the Royal Albert Hall, in London.
The band then went on a UK arena tour, titled Most Wanted: The Greatest Hits Tour, before Tom tragically lost his life earlier in 2022. The band's single 'Gold Forever' surged in sales and streams following the announcement, and the song debuted at number two on the UK Official Singles Sales Top 100. The Wanted then released a new version of the song, titled 'Gold Forever (For Tom)' in tribute with all proceeds of the single sales being donated to The Brain Tumour Charity.
Away from The Wanted, Siva actually started his career at the age of 16 modelling. The Irish star appeared in various ads and landed a contract with Storm Model Management. But it was in 2009 when Siva was selected from thousands of auditions to be a member of The Wanted.
During the band's seven-year break, Siva wrote the song 'You're Not Alone' for the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 sung by Joe and Jake. Then in 2017, he won the first series of Celebrity Hunted with bandmate, Jay. Two years later, Siva released his debut solo single, 'Breathe In' followed by another, 'Ready For This Love', in 2020. Then, in September 2021, he brought out another solo single, titled Syrup.
Dancing On Ice returns to ITV1 and ITVX on Sunday January 15 at 6.30pm.
