Ever since he first appeared on our screens as Chloe Sims’ cousin in the second series of The Only Way is Essex, viewers fell in love with Joey Essex. The 32-year-old reality TV personality soon featured in a slew of other shows including Splash!, I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and Channel 4’s The Jump.
Once called ‘an idiot pretending to be an idiot’, Joey will next be seen in the new series of ITV’s Dancing On Ice. He appears alongside a whole host of other celebrities - read here for the full line up.
The series, which returns to ITV on Sunday, January 15, is once again hosted by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby. The judging line up consists of Christopher Dean, Jayne Torvill, Ashley Banjo and Oti Mabuse.

Who has Joey Essex dated?
Over the years, Joey’s dating life has also been the subject of media attention. During his time on The Only Way is Essex, he had a well publicised relationship with co-star Sam Faiers. Following their initial split, they reconciled in 2012 before getting engaged a year later in March 2013. This wasn’t to last and following a string of arguments, the couple split ‘for good’ in June of the same year.
Following his split from Sam, Joey was linked to a number of different co-stars including TOWIE’s Amber Turner, Celebs Go Dating’s Stephanie Pratt and I’m A Celeb’s Amy Willerton. He was even spotted kissing Love Island’s Maura Higgins last year. Speaking to Closer Magazine at the time, Joey said that his love life was “good” but didn’t elaborate more on that.
He was recently forced to dismiss rumours that he is in a relationship with his Dancing On Ice skating partner Vanessa Bauer. Of joining the show, he said: "It's more serious than what I normally do. I like doing serious stuff. I'm not the best skater. I skated when I was around 11 or 12 but nothing proper. I did The Jump... I don't know how I won that. This is one of those shows where winning is a bonus but I'm going to give it my everything.
