Dana Carvey, a comedian and actor from the United States, shared that his son, who was a proficient and gifted individual, has passed away due to an overdose that occurred unintentionally. The son was only 32 years old.
The famous actor from Wayne's World, who is 68 years old, expressed that he and his wife, Paula Zwagerman, went through a devastating event on Wednesday night when their cherished son named Dex passed away.
Carvey stated on Instagram that Dex accomplished a lot during his life of 32 years.
He had an immense aptitude in various fields, such as music, art, film direction, and humor, and he strived devotedly to achieve excellence in each of them.
Dex had a profound admiration for life, and being around him made you feel the same way as well. He had the ability to make any activity enjoyable.
Above all, his adoration was for his loved ones; his family, closest pals and his girlfriend, Kaylee.
Dex was an absolutely lovely individual. The birthday cards that he crafted by hand are a true gem. We'll always hold him close in our hearts.
Carvey, the recipient of an Emmy award in 1993 for his remarkable solo performance in the American comedy sketch program named Saturday Night Live, expressed his support to those fighting against addiction or those who are seeing their dear ones fighting against it. He conveyed that they are remembered in our hearts and prayers.
Afterward, he posted a picture on Instagram that showed himself and his son laughing. He wrote a caption that said, "Dex and I collaborating. It was such a happy moment."
Dex acted in several TV shows with his dad. Their collaborations include The Funster in 2013, Beyond The Comics in 2014, and Carpool Pandering in 2016. In addition, Dex had the honor of kickstarting his father's TV comedy special called Straight White Male, 60, in that same year.
