BBC Strictly Come Dancing star Dan Walker has reacted with horror to a co star's cutting jibe about his stint on the show.

On BBC Breakfast, Dan was hosting with Sally Nugent, as they chatted to Matt Taylor, who was doing the weather report from the ballroom at Blackpool Tower.

Matt said: "I have to say a big thank you to the dancers who came down earlier this morning including Antony and Chris who came all the way from Macclesfield at three o'clock."

Sally Nugent replied: "I've just got to ask one very important thing: Does the organ come up through the floor?"

Matt confirmed: "It does. It comes up partway through the morning while they're [the dancers] waltzing around and it comes up through the floor.

"You have to come here Sally, it's amazing. It's just a shame Dan didn't come here for Strictly."

Dan said: "Alright stop rubbing it in - I did make it to the quarter finals."

"I love that - you could dance and I could play the organ as it comes up through the floor," Sally said.

Dan replied: "I'm just going to ignore that."

The live tour will travel to Leeds, Newcastle, Manchester, Sheffield, Liverpool, Glasgow and Nottingham.

It will finish at London's O2 Arena on February 13.
