Dakota Johnson

Over the past couple of years, Dakota Johnson has starred in a variety of movies. She's been the main character in creepy body horror flick Suspiria, played the lead in romantic comedy How To Be Single, and appeared in the psychological drama The Lost Daughter.

Nevertheless, there is one specific position that she cannot appear to overcome.

Madame Web, a famous actor, will appear on this Friday's episode of The Graham Norton Show as a special guest, where she will be joined by a few other incredible artists, including Academy Award nominees Sterling K Brown and Colman Domingo, actor Domnhall Gleeson, and American musician Paul Russell.

In the group interview, Sterling pondered about his experience on the acclaimed TV show This Is Us. He confessed that people still approach him for hugs and appreciation, claiming that the show had left a significant impact on their lives. They even mentioned that it helped them release some pent-up emotions.

"I wasn't aware that it would create such a significant effect. It was indeed delightful."

Making reference to her previous role in Fifty Shades, Dakota replied by saying: "That's not something that happens to me. Instead, I receive correspondence from incarcerated men and receive very peculiar things in the mail."

Dakota was cast in the leading roles of all three Fifty Shades Of Grey movies, co-starring Jamie Dornan. Despite their commercial success, the films were heavily criticized by reviewers.

After the trilogy concluded, the primary actors have openly shared their thoughts on their time spent working on it.

In 2022, Dakota stated that shoots were crazy and full of conflict with E.L. James, the writer of the books.

She stated that if she had known the reality of the situation beforehand, she believes no one would have made the same decision. It might have been considered crazy. However, she does not have any remorse towards the choice made.

Jamie recently confessed that he and his partner went into seclusion after the initial reviews of their movie were released.

The actor from Ireland had mentioned before that the negative feedback about Fifty Shades was a difficult thing to handle for both him and Dakota. He strongly disagreed with people treating it like it was just a funny matter. According to him, everyone, including him, put in their best efforts in making those movies.

Tune in to BBC One at 10.40pm this Friday to catch a complete interview with Dakota Johnson on The Graham Norton Show.
