Suggesting a 'joint' top situation could create major issues for statisticians, trophy engravers, fans, and club owners. Leeds will hold the top spot until the match between West Brom and Sheffield United later today, which ends in a 0-1 scoreline.”
Joint-top positions are permitted until the season reaches its halfway mark.

With the current weather, we might see some comedic moments, and there could even be a pie-in-the-face scenario regarding whether or not Citeh will be at Selhurst Park—definitely one of the trickiest places to reach, reminiscent of my time following Shrewsbury Town in London’s lower leagues. I remember venues like Griffin Park (RIP), Brisbane Road (RIP), and The Old Den (RIP)... Thanks for the update on my other team, NotAsNastyAsTheyUsedToBeLeeds.”
On Friday, Pep slipped into his favorite comfy shoes and responded to José Mourinho following their recent interaction.
It was meant to be a joke. However, he’s just one of many people who want the team to drop down to League One or the Conference. I would tell José the same thing: we’re innocent until proven otherwise. After that, we’ll see what unfolds. It is what it is, and it really was just a joke. If I upset him in any way, I truly apologize. The reality is he has three and I have six – that’s a fact. But my intentions were entirely good.
