Exploring the Breathtaking Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace is a Victorian marvel that once housed the Great Exhibition of 1851 in London. The grand structure constructed solely of glass and iron was a pioneering symbol of industrial architecture at the time, taking only nine months to complete. The palace stood proud for many years until it was tragically destroyed by a fire in 1936. Although the Crystal Palace is no longer present, there is still much to explore around the original site and the surrounding parkland.

Things to Do at Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace Park is now home to a wide variety of family-friendly activities, such as the dinosaur trail which has 30 scale models of prehistoric creatures, a maze, a lake, and the National Sports Center. In addition to the park, the area also offers an excellent vantage point for panoramic views of London's skyline. The Crystal Palace tower was erected, and guests enter through a small museum to take the elevator to the top for a perfect view of the city. The tower offers an awe-inspiring view both day and night and is well worth a visit.
