Vibrant jackets, stylish neckwear and fashionable leg coverings were extremely popular among the participants who came together for the Crufts dog competition of this year.
On Thursday, the contestants with furry bodies arrived at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham. They were excited to participate in the competition despite the cold start to the morning. Some dogs wore eye-catching accessories such as a pink chunky scarf or pink hair accessories with a green coat. These unique features helped them to stand out and impress the judges with their colorful appearance.
The recent competition had some Italian greyhounds wearing vivid outfits to stay warm. Meanwhile, different dogs were seen sporting leg warmers featuring a colorful rainbow design. A multitude of dogs from all over are set to join the upcoming event, hoping to succeed in various categories and win an award.
On the initial day of the exhibition, there will be a range of challenges that will test the agility and jumping abilities of the dogs. Additionally, there will be a competition where dogs will have to perform to music, some obedience challenges and a display by police dogs from the West Midlands. Moreover, there will be an assessment of various dog breeds, such as miniature schnauzers, English toy terriers, Japanese spitzes, and chow chows. It will be a really busy day full of exciting activities and events.
Over 24,000 canines representing 220 various breeds participate in the prestigious Crufts 2024 competition, which ultimately concludes with the prize for the Best in Show being given out on Sunday evening.
