Canine hopefuls on the first day of Crufts – in pictures

Over 24,000 pups of 220 distinctive types are participating in Crufts 2024. They will compete in various categories, such as agility, flyball, and hoopers - a novel, less strenuous, and all-embracing activity for owners and their furry companions. The most vivacious and energetic pooches will showcase their skills. On Sunday night, the coveted Best in Show award will be presented.
