Cooper Koch has opened up about his complete nude shower scene in Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.

The 28-year-old actor takes on the role of Erik Menendez in the series produced by Ryan Murphy, which reached the top spot on Netflix following its release on September 19. In one scene from the nine-episode show, Koch’s character is shown showering in prison while nude.

Koch has now shared that he actually went completely nude while filming the iconic shower scene.

He revealed this during a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, where the Bravo producer highlighted the "top five most unforgettable full-frontal scenes" in Hollywood.

“Just to clarify, I didn’t have a prosthetic,” Koch added, prompting Cohen to respond, “That was actually going to be my next question. Congrats to you, Cooper. You’re truly fortunate, aren’t you?”

The Swallowed star smiled and quipped, "Well hung!"

"Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story" is a continuation of Murphy's successful 2022 true crime series "Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story." This new installment focuses on the true story of Erik and Lyle Menendez, two brothers who killed their parents in Beverly Hills in 1989.

The Menendez brothers were found guilty of killing their parents, José and Kitty. They were taken into custody for premeditated murder and plotting to commit murder just outside their house in March 1990. In 1996, they received life sentences without the possibility of parole.

Monsters also addresses the sexual abuse that Lyle and Erik claimed their father inflicted on them. However, Erik, who is currently serving a life sentence at the RJ Donovan Correctional Facility in California with Lyle, argues that Murphy’s series misrepresents their crime. He has accused the creator of spreading “hurtful falsehoods.”

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Murphy spoke in support of the Netflix series, stating, "It's fascinating that he's made a statement without actually watching the show. I'm aware that he hasn't been able to see it while in prison. I really hope he watches it at some point."

He mentioned that “if you follow the series, I’d estimate that about 60 to 65 percent” of the storyline focuses “on the mistreatment and the situations they say they faced. We approach this with sensitivity, allowing them a chance to share their experiences.”

"The Glee creator stated, 'We share the information from their perspective. We dedicated three years to researching this, and everything we've presented is accurate.'"
