Conor McGregor, the former UFC champion in two weight classes, has encouraged Anthony Joshua to continue his boxing career after experiencing a tough fifth-round knockout at the hands of Daniel Dubois at Wembley on Saturday night, where 96,000 fans were present. The MMA star from Dublin remarked, "It’s just boxing."

In an interview with The Stomping Ground on YouTube, McGregor commented after the fight, "Daniel Dubois entered the ring without any stress. He appeared relaxed and focused, and that was evident. From the very first round, he was determined to make his move."

Joshua kept repeating the same move time and time again.

When he was asked whether he believes Joshua should hang up his gloves and retire from professional boxing, McGregor replied, "AJ is the best. This is his eighth time performing at this stadium. Along with Eddie and Barry Hearn from Matchroom Boxing, he will always be a legend."

The interviewer asked whether AJ could make a comeback after his loss. The response was confident: "Absolutely, he showed resilience and fought back before getting hit himself. It's all part of boxing—sometimes you get hit, and sometimes you land a punch. He definitely has the potential to return to the ring."
