Coleen Rooney: I was really shocked at size of reaction to Rebekah Vardy post

Oleen Rooney expressed her surprise at how massive the response was to a message she shared regarding Rebekah Vardy. This sparked a widely publicized legal dispute.

In the article, the spouse of the ex-soccer player and the current head coach of Birmingham City, Wayne Rooney, stated that Jamie Vardy, who is 41 years old, was responsible for three untrue articles in The Sun newspaper which included made-up information that she had posted on her personal Instagram stories as a way to uncover the source of the leak.

Rooney propagated false narratives that included her trip to Mexico to undergo a procedure for selecting the gender of her child, her intention to resume her career on television, and a flooding incident in her recently acquired basement.

Jamie Vardy's wife took legal action against Wayne Rooney for damaging her reputation, but unfortunately lost the legal battle in the High Court. The judge ruled that the claims made by Rooney were mostly accurate and were not intended to cause harm or untruthfulness.

During a discussion about the audience's response to his appearance on BBC One's The One Show, Rooney stated that he expected some attention but not to the extent that it was. He expressed surprise at how popular and widespread the attention had become.

When asked if she still supports the post, she affirmed that those were her own words and she still agrees with them today. She has not changed her stance.

It was difficult; there were moments where I simply wished it would disappear but I persevered and continued fighting.

"She mentioned it was incredibly stressful."

I have a sense of relief now that a huge burden has been lifted. Although I was physically attending to the kids, mentally I was absent before. At this moment, I am deeply grateful to be fully present and attentive to my children physically and mentally.

Rooney was a guest on a BBC program to talk about a fresh three-part documentary called Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story that is set to debut on Disney+ on Wednesday. The documentary provides a viewpoint on the circumstances relating to the case from Rooney's perspective.

The court case had received the nickname "Wagatha Christie" which alludes to the famous writer of crime novels and the abbreviation Wag which stands for "wives and girlfriends" of prominent soccer players.

Rooney made some claims about Vardy on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook in October 2019. She said that for the past five months, she had shared fake stories to check if they would be printed in the Sun newspaper. Surprisingly, they were.

She further said, "It hasn't been easy for me to remain quiet and refrain from giving any input, particularly when the rumors reached the public. But, it was necessary for me to maintain silence."

I am completely sure about the origin of the account or individual it came from.

I kept and captured all the initial tales that present that only a single individual viewed them.

The statement concerns Rebekah Vardy's social media account.
