Coldplay will be back on stage in the summer of 2025 for a series of stadium concerts, but with a unique twist.

The band is set to perform at Craven Park in Hull on August 18 and 19. Following that, they will hold six concerts at Wembley Stadium in London. These will be their only shows in the UK and Europe during this tour.

In a recent announcement, Chris Martin and his band revealed that they will be contributing 10% of the earnings from their performances at Wembley and Hull to the Music Venue Trust. This organization is dedicated to helping local music venues and artists throughout the UK.

Moreover, 50% of the tickets for the Hull performances will be reserved for local supporters, specifically those with HU, YO, DN, or LN postcodes. This initiative celebrates the band's very first concert in the city.

Paul Lakin, the CEO of Hull KR, the rugby league team that operates Craven Park, expressed his excitement about the concerts, stating, “We are extremely thrilled to host the world’s biggest band in East Hull. The stadium has seen its fair share of major performances, but this is something entirely special.”

On October 4, Coldplay will drop their new album titled ‘Moon Music.’ This album follows up on ‘Music Of The Spheres’ from 2022 and includes the main track, 'feelslikeimfallinginlove.'

Staying true to their commitment to the environment, "Moon Music" is set to be the first album launched as a 140g EcoRecord LP. Each record is created from 9 recycled PET-plastic bottles sourced from consumer waste, which leads to an 85% decrease in CO2 emissions during production compared to standard 140g vinyl.

At the same time, CD versions will be the first in the world to launch using EcoCD, made from 90% recycled polycarbonate gathered from waste after consumer use. This innovation achieves a reduction of at least 78% in CO2 emissions per kilogram.
