Coldplay: Introduction

Coldplay is a British alternative rock band, formed in London in 1996. The band consists of lead vocalist and pianist Chris Martin, lead guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, and drummer Will Champion. Coldplay has released eight studio albums, with their debut album "Parachutes" becoming a huge success and earning them their first Grammy Award in 2002 for Best Alternative Music Album.
