A non-profit organisation has put together a costless midday meal on Christmas Eve to provide assistance to those who require it.

Changing Lives, a company located in the North East, has arranged to provide 200 meals at Cafe 16 which is situated within Newcastle Cathedral. The meal service is scheduled to commence at 10:30 AM Greenwich Mean Time.

Inmates from HMP Northumberland collaborated with a different non-profit organization, namely the Oswin Project, in cooking up the food.

According to Alice Fisher from Changing Lives, their assistance is accessible to anyone who may be alone and lacking a warm meal.

The plan is to continue until 1:30 PM or until there are no more meals available.

People who are facing challenges with money, feeling alone, or being socially isolated are being urged to join the no-cost gathering.
