A lady who has trouble moving around was surprised when Chris Martin, the lead singer of Coldplay, gave her a ride at Radio 1's Big Weekend.

Saundra Glenn, a 64-year-old woman who is suffering from osteoarthritis and is having issues with her right hip, was strolling towards the accessible ticket counter when she decided to take a break and lean against a fence.

A woman driving a black Mercedes stopped next to her and invited her to hop in for a ride.

As the door swung open, I immediately recognized the person standing before me as none other than Chris Martin. I expressed my apprehension about entering alongside him, to which my companions reassured me, "You're welcome to come in with us, despite him being here."

Prior to the arrival of the car, she had contemplated returning to her abode and observing the presentation on the television.

"I always believed I loved Coldplay and never believed I would miss another opportunity to watch them in my own city," she expressed.

The vocalist from Yellow kindly offered to assist Ms. Glenn in getting into the car, but she graciously declined the offer.

After Coldplay's performance, Chris Martin paid tribute to Luton Town Football Club by performing a new song exclusively for them.

Once seated in the vehicle, the individual from Luton discovered that she was sharing space with Mr. Martin. They then proceeded to head towards the artist section, where he made arrangements for additional transportation to get her to her desired destination.

She remembered: "Once we arrived at the artist section, he didn't abandon me there. Instead, he instructed me to take the golf cart and ensure that Saundra reached her desired location."

"His awareness of disabilities makes him a genuinely compassionate individual."

Chris was laughed at by the singer who said, "I'm already 64 and I don't participate in festivals. I only came to see you, and now that I've seen you, I'm ready to go home."

Observe as Coldplay honors Luton with a new track titled Orange.

While they were traveling, she inquired about the campaign on BBC Three Counties Radio to alter the words of the song Yellow to Orange. He replied with a pledge to provide a pleasant surprise.

On the same evening, the band decided not to modify the song, but instead presented a fresh piece titled "Orange". Martin composed this track to pay tribute to Luton and its football team, and it was written just the previous night.

Martin updated her on their practice session and expressed his fondness for Luton. In return, Ms. Glenn suggested trying out Chicken George, a local enterprise in Luton, and shared her experience of outliving both her mom and dad.

She recounted an incident where he told her she couldn't leave yet, and they both had a friendly conversation while she held onto his shoulder like two elderly ladies.

Ms Glenn expressed that Radio 1's Big Weekend was the "most awesome festival" she had ever attended and commended Coldplay for creating a song dedicated to Luton Town Football Club.

With a bright smile on her face, she exclaimed: "I had the opportunity to meet Chris Martin and engage in a delightful conversation with him. He truly is a kind-hearted individual!"
