Cheryl's mother had three older kids from a previous relationship, and she had two more with Tweedy before they split up when Cheryl was 11 years old.
Cheryl was raised in public housing and developed a passion for dancing during her childhood. At the age of seven, she made her television debut in a commercial for British Gas.

Before too long, Cheryl caught the attention of a well-known football player.

A few days later, Cheryl, who is 41, shared a poignant post on her Instagram, reflecting on her own sorrow. The message was accompanied by a black and white image of Payne holding their baby son, Bear.
"As I come to terms with this life-altering situation and process my own sorrow during this incredibly difficult period, I want to gently remind everyone that we have lost a person."
