Cher retaliated against the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's decision not to include her by stating: "I don't care about being in it even if they paid me a large sum of money."

When she appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the 77-year-old was questioned about her impressive feat of having hit songs that topped the charts for seven decades.

Cher's most recent song, titled "DJ Play a Christmas Song," conquered the top spot on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Song charts, proving that she has managed to score No.1 hits in every single decade from the 60s all the way to the 2020s.

The Rolling Stones are the only other musicians to achieve this accomplishment.

Cher made a witty remark, stating that it took four individuals to equate to her one persona. She then went on to emphasize that despite this, she has yet to be acknowledged in the prestigious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Cher has met the requirements for being inducted into the Hall located in Cleveland since 1991, however, she has continually been disregarded.

"I wouldn't do it for a million dollars," she declared. "I'm serious. I was actually going to say swear word to emphasize it. My decision is final, they can go do whatever they want."

However, I felt annoyed when he added three Ys to 'sweetheart' since we aren't close enough for that kind of familiarity."

Despite this, they kept communication alive, and Cher mentioned that he began sending her text messages while she was on a trip to Switzerland. She also found it ironic that she ended up falling in love with her boyfriend, considering the relationship advice she had given her friends before.
