Confirmed Chelsea line up vs Shamrock Rovers

Chelsea vs Shamrock Rovers

Enzo Maresca has altered his lineup significantly for tonight's UEFA Conference League clash against Shamrock Rovers, implementing nine changes. Both of the new players added to the roster will be starting the match.

Marc Cucurella and Noni Madueke are the only players from the recent Premier League victory against Brentford who will keep their spots for the last league match in the Conference League. Additionally, Josh Acheampong and Tyrique George have been included in the starting lineup after they were officially promoted to the senior squad this week.

Filip Jorgensen will remain as the goalkeeper in Europe, with Acheampong and Cucurella expected to play as the full-backs in front of him. Renato Veiga and tonight's captain, Axel Disasi, will round out the defense.

Cesare Casadei and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall are set to join the midfield, with Casadei returning after completing his one-match suspension in this tournament.

In the attacking setup, it appears that George and Madueke will take their positions as wingers, while Christopher Nkunku will play a supportive role for striker Marc Guiu.

The bench has a fresh feel to it, featuring five players from the Academy among the substitutes. If Harrison Murray-Campbell plays, he will be making his first appearance at the senior level.

Chelsea's lineup features Jorgensen, Acheampong, Disasi as captain, Veiga, Cucurella, Casadei, Dewsbury-Hall, Madueke, Nkunku, George, and Guiu.

Alternatives: Bergstrom, Sanchez, Murray-Campbell, Tosin, Dyer, Rak-Sakyi, Joao Felix, Neto, Sancho, Vale, and Mheuka.
