Confirmed Chelsea line up v Bournemouth

Chelsea

Renato Veiga will be making his debut in the Premier League as a starter for Chelsea in tonight's game against AFC Bournemouth, having been named in the team's lineup.

Head coach Enzo Maresca has updated the lineup that faced Crystal Palace before the international break, making two adjustments to the starting team.

Axel Disasi has stepped in for Malo Gusto, who had to leave the France Under-21 team due to an injury sustained during the match against Palace.

Veiga, who has played in both of our Conference League matches to date, is ready to make his debut in a Premier League starting lineup. This will be his first appearance in the league since joining from FC Basel during the summer, taking the place of Enzo Fernandez.

Robert Sanchez remains our goalkeeper, and aside from Disasi, the defense is unchanged from the lineup in all three Premier League matches. Wesley Fofana, Levi Colwill, and Marc Cucurella are also part of the squad.

It seems that Veiga is set to join Moises Caicedo in the midfield. Cole Palmer will be playing further up the pitch, while Noni Madueke and Pedro Neto will take position on the wings.

Nicolas Jackson, who just signed a two-year contract extension, will take charge of the attack. Meanwhile, Jadon Sancho, who joined the team on Deadline Day, will be available on the bench.

Chelsea's starting lineup includes: Sanchez in goal; Disasi, Fofana, Colwill, and Cucurella in defense; Caicedo as captain alongside Veiga in midfield; and an attacking trio of Madueke, Palmer, and Neto, with Jackson leading the front line.

Alternatives: Jorgensen, Tosin, Badiashile, Casadei, Felix, Mudryk, Nkunku, Sancho, Guiu

Bournemouth's lineup consists of: Travers in goal; Smith as captain; Zabarnyi and Senesi in defense; Kerkez on the left; Cook and Christie in midfield; Semenyo, Kluivert, and Tavernier in the attacking roles; and Evanilson up front.

Replacements: Dennis, Huijsen, Araujo, Hill, Brooks, Scott, Billing, Sinisterra, Unal
