Get to know Wieke Kaptein - USA edition!

Chelsea FC

Let's learn more about Wieke Kaptein! We interviewed our Dutch midfielder with a series of rapid-fire questions related to Chelsea and the USA.

As Kaptein comes back from her time on loan at FC Twente in the Netherlands and joins her Chelsea teammates for the first time, we saw our pre-season trip to the USA as a great opportunity to learn more about the 18-year-old player!

The young Dutch player moved to the Blues from Twente last year, but then went back to the club on loan for the 2023/24 season. While there, Kaptein won her second Vrouwen Eredivisie title.

Following the debut of Kaptein in a Chelsea jersey during our pre-season friendly victory against NJ/NY Gotham in New Jersey, fans now have the opportunity to learn more about the individual off the field.
