Chelsea trio included in England squad for October
Levi Colwill, Noni Madueke, and Cole Palmer have received another call-up to represent England.
Last month, all three players were selected for Lee Carsley's first senior England squad. They had previously played under the former Everton midfielder with the Under-21 team, where they achieved victory in the U21 Euro championship.
Palmer had to drop out of the squad in September after evaluations by the England coaching staff. In contrast, Colwill played the entire match in the 2-0 victory against the Republic of Ireland and then came off the bench for an additional 30 minutes in the Three Lions' 2-0 win over Finland just three days later.
The win against Finland at Wembley Stadium marked Madueke's debut for the England senior team, where he came on as a substitute. The winger quickly made his presence felt by assisting Harry Kane with his second goal.
The Three Lions have two more Nations League matches scheduled for this month. They will host Greece on Thursday, October 10, at 7:45 PM, and then travel to Finland for a match on Sunday, October 13, set to begin at 5 PM.
Chelsea academy alumni Marc Guéhi, Conor Gallagher, and Dominic Solanke have received call-ups for the upcoming two matches.
It's expected that several young players from Chelsea will be included in the England youth teams announced tomorrow. Additionally, several first-team players from Chelsea are anticipated to be chosen for various international squads in the coming weeks. You can find updates on this on the Chelsea website and app soon.
