Chelsea's attackers Lauren James and Aggie Beever-Jones have been put forward for the PFA Women's Young Player of the Year prize.

Acknowledging their accomplishments in the 2023/24 season, the pair are part of the group of six players who are in the running for the award. The winners will be revealed at a ceremony in Manchester on August 20th.

James had a great season and helped us win our fifth Women's Super League title in a row. She was our top goal scorer, scoring a total of 16 goals in all competitions, with 13 of those goals in the league.

This past season was one that Beever-Jones won't forget, as she had a standout performance and ended up as our second-leading scorer. It was a breakthrough year for her.

The 21-year-old managed to score 13 goals in just 10 games where he started, as well as in 21 games where he came on as a substitute, in all competitions.

Beever-Jones was named the newest player on the England national team and made her debut in a European Championship qualifying game against the Republic of Ireland in July.

Well done, Lauren and Aggie!
