Jake Ankers, who starred alongside the reality star on the BBC Three show "Charlotte In Sunderland," shared on social media that a group of men came into their home while they were inside.

The businessman stated that the intruders attempted to break into his home while he was with his two-year-old child and his partner, who is almost eight months pregnant, and they were armed with a machete.

He mentioned that one of the four individuals was wearing a red balaclava and was holding the weapon at the upper part of the stairs.

Ankers mentioned that Crosby, 34, who won Celebrity Big Brother, and their two-year-old daughter Alba Jean are both "safe" following his confrontation with the group outside their house.

Durham police received a call at 7 PM on Thursday regarding an armed burglary in Houghton-le-Spring, a town located near Sunderland.

A representative from the police department stated: "Officers responded to the location, but the suspects had already fled by the time they got there."

There were no injuries reported from the incident, and it appears that nothing was stolen.

Charlotte Crosby attended the MTV Europe Music Awards in November (Ian West/PA).

She mentioned that an inquiry is currently being conducted and encourages anyone with information to reach out to the police.

After removing his initial post about the attempted break-in, Ankers took to Instagram to express his gratitude, saying: "Thanks to everyone for the messages; the girls and I are okay."

"Feeling incredibly fortunate and grateful for what we have this evening."

Crosby has made appearances on Celebrity MasterChef and hosted various MTV programs, including Just Tattoo Of Us and The Charlotte Show.

She and Ankers announced their engagement in October 2023, following the arrival of their first child in 2022.
