Ramsdale is currently only being selected to play in domestic cup competitions after losing his spot to David Raya for Premier League and Champions League matches.

During an interview with BBC Radio 5 Live's Football Daily, Schwarzer expressed that it has a significant impact on the person's mentality, which is a tough pill to swallow for them.

To fully comprehend this situation and accept it mentally, he needs to train every day, ensuring that he remains in top physical condition while waiting for chances to participate in cup contests. However, he must now cope with the disappointment of not being able to compete in one of these cup competitions.

"It will be fascinating to observe in the future how the situation develops. The performance of the player was decent, but not exceptional during the evening. None of the Arsenal players stood out as having a particularly outstanding game."

Schwarzer attributed the outcome to David Moyes outmaneuvering Mikel Arteta with his tactical acuity.

Schwarzer expressed that West Ham demonstrated superior performance in the game. He also acknowledged David Moyes for his impressive tactical skills displayed during the match.

The team was ready to take on the challenge and immediately implemented a strategy to prevent Arsenal from making any progress. They anticipated Arsenal's plan to navigate through their defense, but it proved ineffective against West Ham's tough defense. By pressuring Arsenal's players, they caused them to make mistakes.

Arsenal seemed nervous at times, which can be attributed to West Ham's effective attacking strategy that constantly put them in a tight spot.
