The relatives of Captain Sir Tom Moore have declared that they have been subjected to violence and are now deeply distressed as a result of unfavorable feedback directed towards them.

During an episode of Piers Morgan's uncensored show on TalkTV, the daughter of the captain mentioned that a discussion board existed where people had planned to harm them while they were sleeping.

Hannah Ingram-Moore stated that her offspring had additionally been sent malicious messages through the postal service.

According to her, the household had a deep-seated enmity beneath its surface.

They have faced disapproval for retaining large sums of money from the sales earnings of Capt Sir Tom's books. However, there are no allegations of wrongdoing against Ms Ingram-Moore for her decision to keep the proceeds rather than contributing to her father's charity.

Capt Sir Tom collected a whopping £38m for NHS Charities Together by strolling around the garden in his Bedfordshire home. The charity organization collaborates with over 230 groups throughout the United Kingdom to offer support to the NHS.

The foundation made by his family to honor him, which is called The Captain Tom Foundation, is not accepting donations anymore. This foundation is currently being investigated by The Charity Commission.

We have made efforts to act in accordance with what we believed to be the correct course of action and on occasion, it did not yield the intended outcome. Nonetheless, there was no intention to cause any harm or negative effects.

Benji, who is 19 years old, expressed how devastated he is to witness the abuse that his mother has been receiving. He feels terrible seeing how it has affected her. While people are entitled to their own opinions, he believes it's unacceptable to hurl vile threats and insults towards her.

There were authentic instances where I suspect she was unsure if she could continue.

When questioned about whether or not she had experienced similar emotions, Ms Ingram-Moore replied by stating that she remained loyal to her father's values. However, she did acknowledge that the situation had been incredibly distressing for her.

In her statement, she mentioned that even though her father was widely admired across the world, there existed a concealed feeling of contempt towards him. However, her family came to terms with it since he was spreading optimism to humanity.

She stated that it never crossed their minds that someone could despise a centenarian who walks back and forth to show support for the NHS and their loved ones, while they themselves do everything in their power to assist him.

Sir Captain Tom captured the affection of the entire country with his charitable walk. He walked 100 laps around his garden to raise money for NHS charities, managing to gather a staggering £38 million in donations.

The tweets began to appear on her Twitter profile, with some alleging that she had utilized an electrical device to urge her father to walk.

The family received numerous emails that referred to them as "parasites," and one email even expressed the desire for them to contract Covid.

The family received a letter for her 14-year-old daughter, Georgia. It had unicorns and hearts decorations to make it appear innocent, but in reality, it contained mean words and a newspaper article about their family in a negative way.

Every single member of the family acknowledged that they had been sent warnings of death, and Colin, Ms Ingram-Moore's spouse, expressed that some individuals had even threatened to set their family house in Marston Moretaine, Bedfordshire, on fire.

He said that his wife had become very sick due to the incessant threats.

The family is presently trying to overturn a decision that mandates them to destroy a structure situated in their backyard, which had previously obtained approval for construction.

The spa can be found at the house where Capt Sir Tom Moore strolled 100 laps around the garden in the year 2020. The building, which has a distinctive C-shape, is situated to the right of the pond.

Initially, it was deemed suitable for the utilization of the inhabitants and the Captain Tom Foundation and was authorized for planning in the month of August, year 2021.

The building was already under construction when new plans were filed in February 2022. The revised plans contained a request for a spa pool, bathrooms, and a kitchen exclusively for personal use. Unfortunately, these new plans were denied.

Morgan was informed by the family that they regretted naming the foundation in the initial application.

The Captain Tom Foundation is still under investigation, as reported by the Charity Commission.

According to a representative, the investigation will look into possible mishandling or wrongdoing that could have resulted in financial damages to the charitable organization. It will also determine if the board members have appropriately handled any situations where their personal interests conflicted with those of private firms related to the Ingram-Moore family.

Bedfordshire Police has been requested by the BBC to provide their opinion regarding the intimidations directed towards the family.
