Camila Cabello has had a hectic schedule recently, but you wouldn't have known it from her amazing performance on Saturday night at Glastonbury's Other Stage.

Her latest album, C,XOXO was released last Friday, and she has been busy performing at various music festivals across Europe and Africa throughout the week.

The 27-year-old singer excited her fans with popular songs like Havana and Pretty When I Cry, performing on a stage decorated to look like a skate park and playground.

Later on, she shared with the BBC that she was feeling "a bit anxious" as she had never performed at Glastonbury before.

You constantly hear about how famous and thrilling it is.

"I was unsure of how the audience would be, but they ended up being very kind and pleasant which was a pleasant surprise," she remarks.

Women Work Ten Times Harder

Cabello gained popularity on The X Factor USA in 2012, auditioning as a solo performer before being grouped with four other competitors to create Fifth Harmony.

The group became one of the top-selling girl bands in history, but Cabello decided to leave in 2016 to focus on her own solo music career.

She will perform at Glastonbury during a year when the festival has, for the first time, booked two female headliners. Cabello expressed her surprise at the fact that this had never occurred before.

"I am a big fan of Dua and SZA. It is well deserved that they are headlining," she stated, noting that female artists experience "unique challenges".

She stated: "We put in much more effort and work extremely hard to gain visibility, credibility, and respect."

As a result, we have had to make changes to become more resilient and improved.

Camila Cabello recently dropped her fourth album, C,XOXO.

Last Night, I FaceTimed Drake

Cabello lived in both Cuba and Mexico during her early years before finally settling down in Miami, Florida at the age of six.

Her cultural background is often apparent in her music as a solo artist, with her 2018 album Camila showcasing Latin sounds such as salsa, dancehall, and reggae.

C, XOXO is taking a new direction, with critics saying she has entered a hyper pop phase.

"This album is truly unique. I believe that I have taken a lot of chances and been very adventurous with the sound," she expressed.

"I'm enjoying making this album more than ever before and having a blast performing like never before - I hope it comes through in my work."

Her album features many famous artists, such as Playboi Carti, Lil Nas X, and Drake.

The rapper from Canada, who has been in a feud with Kendrick Lamar that has been getting a lot of attention lately, is showcased on two tracks - Uuugly and Hot Uptown.

Collaborating with Drake has been a blast, he's truly a wonderful person," Cabello shared with BBC news.

I video called him last night because our song was just released and he is always very supportive.

Cabello reached out to Drake through a private message on social media to secure their collaboration, expressing her admiration for him.

I hope everyone has the opportunity to collaborate on a song with Drake because he is such a fun person to be around.

Working together can be challenging when you have two individuals with completely different personalities, but with him, it was very easy.
