Camila Cabello has had a hectic schedule lately, but you wouldn't have known it based on her energetic performance at the Other Stage at Glastonbury on Saturday evening.

She released her fourth album, C,XOXO last Friday and has been busy performing at various music festivals in Europe and Africa throughout the week.

The 27-year-old brought joy to their fans with popular songs like Havana and Pretty When I Cry, performing in front of a backdrop made to look like a skate park and playground.

Later on, she informed the BBC that she was feeling "slightly apprehensive" as she had never performed at Glastonbury previously.

People always talk about how amazing it is and everyone is always so enthusiastic about it.

"I wasn't sure what to anticipate, but the audience turned out to be very kind and welcoming, which was unexpected," she remarks.

Women Work Ten Times Harder

Cabello became well-known after appearing on The X Factor USA in 2012, trying out as a solo singer before being grouped with four other competitors to create Fifth Harmony.

The group achieved great success and became one of the top-selling girl bands ever. However, Cabello decided to depart in 2016 in order to focus on her solo music career.

Cabello will perform at Glastonbury this year, where she will be one of two female headliners, a first in the festival's history. She finds it unexpected that this had not occurred before.

"I really admire Dua and SZA. They totally deserve to be headlining," she stated, noting the unique challenges female artists often encounter.

She stated: "We exert much more effort and dedicate much more time to be noticed, to be taken seriously, and to be respected."

As a result, we had to make changes in order to improve and become more resilient.

Camila Cabello just dropped her fourth album, C,XOXO, on us and we are excited to listen to it!

Chatted With Drake On FaceTime

Cabello lived in both Cuba and Mexico during the early years of her life before settling in Miami, Florida for good at six years old.

Her background has often shown up in her music when she performs on her own. Her album from 2018, Camila, has sounds from Latin music like salsa, dancehall, and reggae.

C, XOXO enters a new phase, according to critics who say she is now in her hyper pop era.

"This album is quite unique. I believe that I have taken many risks and explored new sounds in terms of music," she expressed.

I am enjoying myself more while making this album than ever before, and I am also having a great time performing. I hope my enthusiasm comes through in both the music and my live shows.

Her album features many well-known artists, such as Playboi Carti, Lil Nas X, and Drake.

The rapper from Canada, who has been in a well-publicized feud with Kendrick Lamar for weeks, is showcased on two tracks - Uuugly and Hot Uptown.

Collaborating with Drake has been a great experience, he's a truly wonderful person," Cabello shared with BBC news.

I video called him last night because our new song was released, and he's always very encouraging.

Cabello, who easily got the chance to work together with Drake by sending him a message on social media, said she "really loves him".

I hope everyone gets the chance to collaborate on a song with Drake because he's so fun to be around.

Working together can be challenging when you have two completely different personalities, but with him, it was easy.
