Black Ops 6 is hitting the shelves with a storyline set in the Gulf War of the early 90s. It features the first round-based Zombies mode we've seen in years, along with 16 fresh multiplayer maps. Additionally, the beloved Nuketown map will make its comeback just days after the game’s release. Plus, the free-to-play Warzone will link up with Black Ops 6 in mid-November, introducing a new Resurgence map and incorporating all the weapons from Black Ops 6, as well as its thrilling "Omnimovement" system.
If you have an Xbox Game Pass subscription, you can play Black Ops 6 for free. However, you will still have the option to buy in-game items, such as the Battle Pass that will be available when Season 1 starts.
Here’s when you can begin playing the full game on Steam, Battle.net, Xbox, and PlayStation.
"Black Ops 6 PC Release Time"
Black Ops 6 is set to be released on PC at 9 PM PT on Thursday, October 24th. Here’s when you can expect the game to become available in various time zones if you’re playing on Steam or Battle.net:
Players on the Microsoft Store will adhere to the same launch timeline as those on consoles.
Black Ops 6 Launch Time For Xbox And PS
For console gamers, the timing is a bit simpler to figure out. Essentially, Black Ops 6 will be available on the Microsoft Store, Xbox, and PlayStation at midnight local time on Friday, October 25th.
In theory, you can change your in-game region to access the game ahead of its official release. However, doing this poses a risk to your account since it technically violates the terms of service. Many gamers engage in this tactic yearly, and so far, I haven't heard of anyone facing consequences. This method, often referred to as the “New Zealand trick,” enables players in later regions to get a head start on the game. For example, when it hits midnight in New Zealand on the 25th, it’s actually 4am PT on the 24th. Keep in mind that players who opt for this approach are doing so at their own risk.
