According to Sky in Italy, Arsenal are getting closer to finalizing a deal for Bologna defender Riccardo Calafiori. The 22-year-old defender was a standout player for Italy during Euro 2024, following a successful season in Serie A. Bologna is asking for £42.1 million in exchange for the talented centre back.

Arsenal and Bologna are nearly finalizing an agreement for the transfer of Riccardo Calafiori, a defender.
Bologna is asking for €50 million (equivalent to £42.2 million) and according to Sky Italy, negotiations are ongoing regarding the payment terms and conditions.
There should be no issues regarding personal terms. Calafiori's old team, Basel, will receive 50% of Bologna's earnings from any agreement.
