Arsenal and Chelsea handed huge Calafiori boost amid transfer links
The defender from Bologna is drawing a lot of attention from teams all over Europe, including two Premier League clubs and the Serie A powerhouse Juventus.
Calafiori has the ability to play as a central defender or left-back. Arsenal and Chelsea are both looking to strengthen their defense this summer, and the 23-year-old could be a good option for them.
We still don't know for sure if there is real interest, but it seems likely that Calafiori will choose to go overseas instead of staying in Italy.
Recently, Giovanni Sartori, the technical director of Bologna, gave an update on Calafiori's future. He stated to Calciomercato, "We signed him a year ago, so we will have to wait and see what happens in the market. However, our intention is to keep him at the club."
"We want to keep him on our team, but if we receive tempting offers, we will need to consider them. I don't believe he will join Juventus; it is more likely he will move to a different league."
