Emma Heming Willis, the wife of Bruce Willis, has informed her social media followers that it is possible her husband may not be aware of his Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) diagnosis. This comes after the announcement was made six months ago.

The loved ones of the famous actor from Die Hard disclosed in the previous year that he would "stop" acting due to his aphasia diagnosis at the age of 68. Subsequently, in February, they updated that his FTD condition had worsened.

Emma, who is currently 47 years old, discussed her family's experience with Willis' diagnosis on the Today show on NBC on Monday, September 25th.

Emma initially revealed that Willis was suffering from a "cruel disease" in collaboration with the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration. She characterized it as the "most prevalent type of dementia."

"She mentioned that since getting a diagnosis for FTD can take a lengthy period, it's highly possible that the number of people affected by the disease is larger than we realize. Unfortunately, presently, there are no cures for this condition. However, we have faith that we can change this in the future. As Bruce's ailment progresses, we wish that news outlets can concentrate their coverage on raising awareness and funding for this ailment that requires urgent research."
