Hank Azaria, an actor and voice artist who has won an Emmy Award, has shared that he has a new project dedicated to Bruce Springsteen, called Hank Azaria & The EZ Street Band. The brand-new group will perform for the first time at Le Poisson Rouge in New York on August 1, 2024. During the concert, with his unique vocal style and texture, the band leader will aim to match or even surpass The Boss's live performance skills.

Before starting his new music project, Azaria had an impressive history of achievements in TV and movies. He had contributed his vocals to the famous animated show The Simpsons, since its inception in 1989. Azaria also featured in blockbuster movies like The Birdcage, where he played the beloved character of Agador Spartacus, a Guatemalan housekeeper. In David Schwimmer’s directorial debut, Run Fatboy Run, Azaria played the role of Whit.

Azaria shared in a statement that he put in an exceptional amount of effort to master his singing imitation of Bruce for this particular role. The show promises to be filled with a mix of popular and lesser-known Springsteen songs, all performed with Azaria's distinctive style and the band's exceptional musical abilities.

On August 1st, the concert's earnings will go entirely towards the Four Through Nine Foundation. This foundation was created by Azaria, with the mission to support social justice, education, and recovery related programs. Azaria is enthusiastic about performing the songs beloved by the attending audience as a tribute to Bruce. Performing at this concert is Azaria's way of combining her passion for music with her efforts to raise funds for the ones who need it the most.

Starting from noon E.T. on Thursday, May 23, 2024, you'll be able to purchase tickets for Hank Azaria & The EZ Street Band's performance on August 1, 2024, at the Le Poisson Rouge in NYC.
