The legendary artist behind "Born To Run," who just turned 75, remains vibrant and continues to perform around the globe after over 50 years of success in his career.

"I've never come across a hearse carrying luggage on the roof, so that pretty much sums it up for me," he responded when asked about his retirement plans.

During tonight's episode of The Graham Norton Show, he mentioned, "I will continue pushing forward until it's finished."

Even after 50 years of performing, the Boss revealed that he experiences a sense of 'anxiety' right before he goes on stage. However, he believes this feeling isn't the same as being nervous.

"I experience anticipatory anxiety. It's different from just feeling nervous. It's a normal emotional response that occurs before you set out to push your limits," he said.

He emphasized that the feelings he experiences before a performance are essential, stating, "If those feelings weren't present, I think there would be something off, and you probably wouldn't be able to do the job."

In addition to his own tours and the new documentary "Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band," the "Thunder Road" artist has had some participation in the upcoming biopic "Deliver Me From Nowhere."

The movie draws inspiration from his experiences in the early 1980s, featuring Jeremy Allen White, known for his role in The Bear, portraying Bruce.

"It's a great group of actors," he mentioned, acknowledging that portraying a musician in a film can be quite challenging, especially when it comes to performing songs.

When questioned about whether Jeremy would be lip-syncing, Bruce replied, "It's not a straightforward task because it's not about mimicking someone; it requires a personal take on the performance. It's challenging, but he’s an excellent actor and has a decent singing voice."

At a recent concert, the rock legend dispelled rumors about his possible retirement, assuring the crowd that he and his E Street Band have no plans to 'stop'.

Over the past year, he has had to push back several shows due to health issues. However, in August, while performing at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, he reassured his fans by saying, "We’re not giving up!"

"We're not saying goodbye," he declared, met with enthusiastic cheers. "Goodness gracious! There’s no farewell tour for the E Street Band... Farewell to what? A huge crowd shouting your name? No way! I'm here to stay!"

You can catch The Graham Norton Show on Fridays at 10:40 PM on BBC One and iPlayer.
