The jersey now displays the player's name and number on its back, which is a new feature. Fans can purchase jerseys with their preferred player's name or even with a personalized one.
On the day of the game, there was a large and vocal group of spectators totaling 4,856 people. This was larger than the average number of fans that have attended Manchester City's WSL matches this season, which is 3,306.
The Bees had a great time experiencing a matchday with the men's first team. It all started with pre-match activities at the Robert Rowan Performance Centre, and then they took a coach ride to the Gtech.
The staff available on the matchday made sure that the fans have a jolly good time. They conducted some interviews with ex-players from Brentford Women's team and also the head coach Karleigh Osborne, as well as players Mollie Holmes and Samantha Read. All of these interviews took place on the side of the pitch.
The day ended on a high note with a victorious 6-1 game against Ashmount Leigh. After the game, the players took a lap around the stadium and interacted with fans. A lot of supporters were seen wearing the women's home match shirt.
