Beyoncé and Blue Ivy share a matching moment in luminous golden gowns for the 'Mufasa' premiere
Beyoncé and her daughter Blue Ivy shared a lovely matching moment last night at the world premiere of Disney's Mufasa, a live-action prequel to The Lion King. In this film, Blue voices Kiara, who is the daughter of Beyoncé's character Nala, a lioness.
Beyoncé and her 12-year-old daughter coordinated their looks in shimmering gold. Beyoncé dazzled in a strapless black Balmain gown adorned with metallic gold embellishments, a piece from a special collection created by Olivier Rousteing to mark the 30th anniversary of The Lion King earlier this year. Meanwhile, Blue stole the show in a dramatic Christian Siriano gown crafted from glossy material with a shimmering gold finish.
Tina opted for a more understated look. The family matriarch donned a black off-the-shoulder top paired with black pants and a leather belt featuring a large, decorative gold buckle. This choice subtly connected her outfit to the gold ensembles worn by her daughter and granddaughter.
Beyoncé and Blue have a history of showcasing their coordinated style on the red carpet. Back at the 2019 premiere of The Lion King, they both dazzled in matching outfits, wearing sparkling suit jackets topped with black tulle skirts, which were also embellished with jewels.

The family's statement was released just a day after Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, faced allegations of sexually assaulting a minor alongside rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs from 24 years ago. The lawsuit was initially submitted in October, naming Combs as the defendant, but on Sunday, it was amended to also include Jay-Z. He has denied the claims.
