Blake Lively has openly responded to rumors about her marriage to Ryan Reynolds ending in divorce.
The 36-year-old actress dismissed the gossip about her and Reynolds' relationship in the replies of her Instagram post on July 22. One fan praised the couple and urged them to share more photos together due to rumors of them splitting up.
In reply, Lively jokingly admitted that the rumors of a breakup were false, stating: "Haha, they want it to be true!" and adding a laughing, crying emoji.
The actor from Gossip Girl shared a sweet photo of her and Reynolds sharing a kiss during his work on the set of his upcoming movie, Deadpool & Wolverine. She also posted a video highlighting all the modern references in the film.
"Let me know if Deadpool is married to a young woman in reality without actually saying it," she exclaimed as the video began. "I have never felt so understood."
She made a playful comment that even though she should be rivals with Reynolds because her new movie is coming out soon, she couldn't help but praise his movie. She then highlighted and praised the modern references in the film, such as her thoughts on men using feminism, her love for The Wizard of Oz, Succession, the characters Sandy & Danny, and driving while listening to Avril Lavigne.
She playfully mentioned how much the "y2k girlies" had influenced the movie, saying: "I can't help but point out all the ways us ladies have made an impact on @deadpoolmovie. I've never been more proud. And I've had four children."
Following their marriage in 2012, Lively and Reynolds became the proud parents of four children. Their lovely family includes three daughters: James, who is nine years old, Inez, who is seven, and Betty, who is four. In 2023, they welcomed their fourth child, a son named Olin, whose name was recently announced by Reynolds.
At the premiere of his film in New York City on July 22, Reynolds gave a special shoutout to his wife and four children, revealing their names. The gender of the fourth child of Reynolds and Lively was kept a secret.
I want to begin by expressing my gratitude to my wife, Blake, who is here with us today. She looks stunning, just a heads-up,” he told the audience at the event. “I also want to thank my children, James, Inez, Betty, Olin, who are also here. I hope that, if fate allows, this experience will be the most shocking event in your amazing lives.”
He said, "I am happy that my whole family is present."
During his promotional tour for Deadpool & Wolverine, the 47-year-old actor has kept making jokes about his family. In a recent interview with E! News alongside Hugh Jackman, Reynolds playfully mentioned that his kids have a fancy babysitter: Taylor Swift.
Jackman revealed that Swift worked as a nanny for Reynolds' family. In response, the father of four quipped, "The price tag on that is..."
The accountant mentioned that the cost was too high to be worth it. But I believe he really meant that the cost was so outrageous that he couldn't continue working with us as our accountant.
Reynolds and Lively have been good pals with Swift for almost ten years. The couple brought their three daughters to Swift's concert in Madrid, Spain during her Eras Tour.
People at the event saw the family enjoying themselves and dancing along while Taylor Swift performed her popular song "Betty" from her album Folklore. In the song, Swift mentions all three of Reynolds and Lively's daughters by name. When Swift sang the line "You heard the rumors from Inez," Lively smiled and gestured towards her daughter Inez.
