Blake Lively and Gigi Hadid make a case for method dressing
According to Gigi Hadid and Blake Lively, mix and matching styles is still popular. The two celebrities dressed up as superheroes for the premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine. They wore yellow and red outfits to show their support for Ryan Reynolds, Lively's husband and the star of the movie.
Lively confidently wore an outfit inspired by her husband's iconic character, Deadpool. She chose a red catsuit by Atelier Versace with black lace accents and an off-the-shoulder design. She completed the look with a stylish ponytail, bold red earrings, and high heels. On the other hand, Hadid went for a bold mustard yellow look by Miu Miu, featuring a low-waisted skirt and handkerchief top that put a fashionable twist on Wolverine's signature style.
Lively has shown before that she enjoys dressing in a way that compliments her husband's film premieres. She wore a yellow dress to the Pokemon Detective Pikachu premiere, a black-and-red gown to the Deadpool 2 premiere, and opted for trousersuits during her press tour for A Simple Favor to match her character's style. Just like Zendaya and Margot Robbie, she seems to have a fondness for dressing in line with the theme of the event.
In the evening, Hadid and Lively were seen going to the afterparty in different outfits. Lively wore a short floral dress by Balmain, and Hadid put on a shiny yellow trench coat by LaQuan Smith, matching her Miu Miu outfit.
