‘Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6’ Is Now Live For Everyone On PC, Xbox And PS5

Black Ops 6

Update: Black Ops 6 has officially launched worldwide, becoming available ahead of schedule on all platforms across all regions. The rollout seems to be progressing very well so far! Enjoy the game!

The release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is just around the corner, and soon players will have the chance to dive into its single-player story, tackle the round-based Zombies mode, and experience multiplayer gameplay. The game will be available at different times depending on your location and gaming platform. Keep reading to discover when you can jump in and start playing.

Black Ops 6 is kicking off with a storyline that takes place in the Gulf War of the early 90s. Players can look forward to the first round-based Zombies mode in recent memory, along with 16 completely new multiplayer maps. Fans will also be excited to see the classic Nuketown map making a return just a few days after the game's release. Additionally, the free-to-play Warzone will merge with Black Ops 6 in mid-November, introducing a new Resurgence map along with all the weapons from Black Ops 6 and the thrilling “Omnimovement” gameplay system.

If you’re a subscriber to Xbox Game Pass, you'll have access to Black Ops 6 at no cost. However, you will still have the option to make purchases within the game, such as buying the Battle Pass, which will be available when Season 1 begins.

Here’s when you can begin playing the main game on Steam, Battle.net, Xbox, and PlayStation.

Black Ops 6 PC Release Time

Black Ops 6 will be released on PC at 9 PM PT on Thursday, October 24th. Here’s when you can expect the game to be available in various time zones on Steam and Battle.net:

Players on the Microsoft Store will adhere to the same launch timeline as those on consoles.

Black Ops 6 Release Time For Xbox And PlayStation

For those playing on consoles, the timing is fairly straightforward. Black Ops 6 will officially launch on the Microsoft Store, Xbox, and PlayStation at midnight local time on Friday, October 25th.

In theory, you could change your game region to access it early, but this could put your account at risk since it violates the terms of service. Despite this, many players do it every year, and I haven’t heard of anyone facing consequences. This tactic, often referred to as the “New Zealand trick,” enables gamers in other regions to jump in much sooner. For instance, midnight on the 25th in New Zealand is 4 am PT on the 24th. Those who choose to go this route need to be aware of the potential risks involved.

Season 1 Launch Date And Warzone Integration

Although Activision hasn't officially revealed when Black Ops 6 Season 1 will kick off, a recent leak from a pizza partner gives us a strong hint. This date is also likely when Warzone will completely merge with the new game and we can expect the debut of the Area 99 Resurgence map. The leak appears trustworthy, as the in-game season countdown indicates that the current season wraps up in 20 days.
