During the seventh day of chaos on the streets of the UK, large groups of people gathered in Bordesley on Monday night. Videos showed groups of men wearing balaclavas, some yelling 'Free Palestine' and waving Palestinian flags. This was in response to rumors that the far-right were planning to attack the area.

Many demonstrators gathered outside the Clumsy Swan pub on Stoney Lane and were later recorded on social media causing damage to the building. Police are currently looking into these reports of criminal acts.

A man wielding a knife attacked a Sky News van as the TV crew tried to leave the area, after being informed they were not wanted there, according to reporter Becky Johnson. Ms Johnson was disrupted by a protester on a motorcycle who used foul language and made offensive gestures towards the camera while she was trying to give a live report.

West Midlands Police (WMP) announced that they are looking into a case where a car's windows were broken and another vehicle's tires were vandalized.

The police and the Member of Parliament for the area, Jess Phillips, promised to ensure that those responsible for the recent violence in Southport are held accountable. A total of over 370 individuals have been arrested in connection to the stabbings that occurred.

A reporter from 5Pillars, a news website in the UK that focuses on topics related to Islam and Muslims, shared that a group of older Muslims went to the Clumsy Swan on Monday evening to say sorry to the staff. West Midlands Police reported that a considerable crowd had assembled in Bordesley, but there were no confrontations with individuals from a different group. Despite rumors circulating on social media about a potential far-right demonstration, it did not occur.

Ms Phillips proposed that the rumors of the far-right gathering were intentionally circulated to stir up trouble. However, former home secretary James Cleverly accused her of "finding reasons for masked men who were yelling, harassing, and intimidating members of the media".

The police are looking into reports of a man with a dangerous weapon and other incidents. They promised to put in a lot of effort to find and arrest the people responsible.

WMP stated that there have been no arrests made yet, but they are looking into reports of various incidents. These incidents include an assault, damage to a pub on Stoney Lane, a car with smashed windows on Alcombe Grove in Stechford, and another vehicle with damaged tires on Belchers Lane in Bordesley Green.

Chief Superintendent Richard North stated that the anticipated protest in the city did not occur. However, there were a few isolated instances of criminal behavior throughout the evening. Law enforcement is dedicated to apprehending the individuals responsible.
