The artist will only be performing at the Principality Stadium in Europe this year, and tickets are completely sold out.

Over 70,000 people went to the stadium on Friday night, causing all roads in the city center to be closed.

And supporters were pleased as the Piano Man welcomed his initial crowd in the Land of Song to participate.

When he started his show, he told the audience, "It took me 55 years, but I'm finally performing in Wales for the first time."

I heard that Welsh people enjoy singing, so go ahead and sing along. It doesn't matter if it bothers the person next to you. Let's have a good time and sing our hearts out.

Billy, a highly successful artist in the history of American music charts, is most famous for his hit songs like Piano Man, Uptown Girl, and We Didn't Start the Fire.

His concert at the Principality Stadium comes after a series of recent shows at the venue by other famous artists like Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, Pink, and the Foo Fighters.

Just like other famous celebrities who have visited the capital in the past, Billy brought a touch of Welsh influence to his performance. He delighted the audience by singing the chorus of Green Green Grass of Home, a hit song by Tom Jones.

The audience enthusiastically participated in a call-and-response rendition of "What's New Pussycat?" during his performance honoring Tom Jones later in the night.

Billy admitted that he didn't know the lyrics and then chuckled, adding that he did remember the part about the pussycat.

Next, the audience joined in a lively singalong to The Lion Sleeps Tonight, followed by Billy's performance of his popular song The Longest Time.

The musician invited his eight-year-old daughter Della Rose and six-year-old daughter Remy Anne to join him on stage as well.

His daughter Della cheerfully yelled to the audience 'Let's go Cardiff' while Remy sat on her father's piano.
