Bill Cobbs, known for his roles in popular 90's movies like The Bodyguard and Air Bud, has passed away at the age of 90. His brother, Thomas G. Cobbs, announced the sad news on Facebook, stating that Bill passed away peacefully at his California home on June 25. Thomas described Bill as a beloved partner, brother, uncle, parent figure, godfather, and friend. He mentioned that Bill had recently celebrated his 90th birthday surrounded by loved ones. The family is finding comfort in knowing that Bill is now at peace with his Heavenly Father and asked for prayers and support during this difficult time.

Cobbs was born in 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio. He started his career in theater in Ohio and later worked with the Negro Ensemble Company in New York. His first movie role was in The Taking of Pelham One Two Three. Cobbs appeared in many popular movies from the 90s including The Body Guard, The People Under the Stairs, and Air Bud. He also played a villainous guard in Night at the Museum. On TV, he had roles in shows like Rugrats, The West Wing, The Sopranos, and Star Trek: Enterprise.
