Who won Big Brother 2024? Winner revealed after grand final
The current season of Big Brother has wrapped up, and the grand finale has revealed the housemate who emerged as the champion for 2024.
The last housemates heading into the finale were Ali, Emma, Hanah, Marcello, Nathan, and Segun. Each of them was eager to secure a victory through the public vote.
Segun was the first to depart, securing sixth place, and he was followed by Nathan, who came in fifth.
After completing their exit interviews, Hanah left the house, securing the fourth position, and Emma soon followed her, claiming the third spot.
As the last two contestants, Ali and Marcello faced off, and it was announced that Ali emerged as the champion of Big Brother UK 2024, securing 51.9 percent of the votes.
After her victory, Ali mentioned that she thinks she captured the public's heart by being true to herself and not relying on a strategy.
Ali has now been crowned a winner alongside Jordan Sangha, marking them as the first two champions of ITV2's revamped Big Brother format. Additionally, David Potts secured victory in the celebrity edition of the show earlier this year.
Fortunately, fans won't have to wait long for a new champion to emerge, as the show has already been picked up for another season featuring both regular contestants and celebrities next year.
When discussing the show's renewal, ITV's Director of Reality Programming and Acquisitions, Paul Mortimer, remarked that since the series joined ITV in 2023, it has "solidified its presence on our platforms and become a hit with our audience."
He mentioned, "Both Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother have attracted viewers on ITV1 and ITV2, and together they have accumulated nearly 100 million streams on ITVX."
We are thrilled to announce that we will be reopening the doors of the house for another season of both Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother in 2025. Expect a new lineup full of unforgettable moments and captivating entertainment!
