In happier news, Richarlison came back from being injured and was able to play briefly at the end of the game. Yves Bissouma is back in action after being suspended by the club.

Tottenham may not have Rodrigo Bentancur playing in the upcoming match against Everton on Saturday. This is because he sustained a serious head injury during a game at King Power Stadium.

Bentancur accidentally collided heads with Abdul Fatawu before falling hard onto the ground. He was given extensive medical attention and had to be carried off on a stretcher while receiving oxygen.

Postecoglou stated that Bentancur was awake and talking after the match, and the midfielder returned to the team bus.

He won't be able to play in Saturday's game against Everton because of the concussion protocols.

Possible return date: Uncertain

Tottenham decided to not include Yves Bissouma in their lineup for the first game of the Premier League season against Leicester City on Monday night. This was due to a video of him using laughing gas being posted online.

Ange Postecoglou announced the information before the match and stated that the midfielder will need to regain trust with both himself and the team. Bissouma also publicly expressed regret for a "serious lapse in judgment".

Bissouma received a one-game suspension, so he is now eligible to play against Everton. However, it is uncertain if Postecoglou will choose to include him in the matchday squad.

Possible day of coming back: Saturday, August 24, 2024

Forster is back in training with the main team and is aiming to make a comeback and be ready for a match before the month is over.

"The manager mentioned that Richy and Fraser have returned to training this week and both have had a productive training period."

With one more week of training left before the season begins, we are hoping that they will be well-prepared. It seems like everyone else has had a successful pre-season as well.

Estimated time of arrival: Towards the end of August 2024
