The singer "Slow Down" shared some news about her new relationship on December 7th through social media. She talked publicly about being single for months, but it seems like she's now with Benny Blanco. She shared a selfie of the two of them, where her head was resting on his shoulder. She posted another picture which showed a "B" ring on her finger. She is also the founder of Rare Beauty.

Despite the fact that her new love has made her very happy, some of her followers were unhappy with her new relationship. Several people shared their thoughts on social media fan pages and criticized the couple. In response, Gomez was upset by the negative reactions and went on the same fan pages to inquire about their reasons and support her relationship.

"I am confused. If you truly have my best interest at heart, then you should be happy for me. I won't stop you from expressing your thoughts, but I refuse to let them determine my life choices. I have had enough. If you can't support me during my happiest moments, then it's better for you to not be a part of my life at all."

Addressing those who criticized her for associating with Blanco in the past, the singer of "Who Says" expressed her honest opinion without reservation. "Laugh out loud, yes, and he still surpasses anyone I have ever been involved with," she declared.

The post claimed that Selena Gomez seemingly affirmed her relationship status, to which she responded by writing "Facts."

Moreover, the blog post contained a fragment from Gomez's cooking program titled Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidays. In the footage, the star made a confession about having feelings for someone.
