Selena Gomez Comments on Benny Blanco Dating Rumors: ‘He Is My Absolute Everything in My Heart’

There were some rumors circulating on the internet last Thursday (Dec. 7) that stated Selena Gomez is in a relationship with producer Benny Blanco. However, the pop star/actress also learned about these rumors. She took to Instagram on Thursday to address the social media reaction about the alleged couple.

"He means the world to me," she wrote on the post and then responded to other comments on the account. "I'm confused. If you truly care about me, this is what makes me happiest," she told one commenter. "If you don't care, say what you want. But I won't let your words control my life. I'm finished. If you can't accept me when I'm at my happiest, don't be a part of my life."

A person commented on a post and said that the person should not get upset about receiving negative comments if they post pictures of their boyfriend. They suggested that the relationship should be private. However, the person who posted the pictures, Gomez, explained that they have been keeping the relationship private for six months already. Gomez also stated that they will always defend their loved ones and fans, no matter what.

Billboard has contacted a representative for Gomez to verify the truthfulness of the statements.

After receiving feedback, Gomez utilized her personal Instagram Stories to upload a picture that seemed to feature herself and Blanco. She also composed a distinct Story where she stated: "It's important to remember how much I value and care for every single one of you."

Blanco teamed up with Gomez to produce her latest song "Single Soon," which was released in August and became a top 20 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. They also worked together on Blanco's 2019 track "I Can't Get Enough," which featured Tainy and J Balvin.

Apart from discrediting rumors about Blanco, she also replied to a follower who inquired about her third personal album's development. The comment read, "When is sg3 coming sel?", and Gomez's retort was, "in 2 months."
