Travelers are reporting that they have lost a substantial amount of money after using two meet-and-greet car parking companies at Gatwick Airport, which is the second busiest airport in the UK.

One traveler shared that she had to take a taxi almost 150 miles back to Norfolk because Drive Park and Fly informed her that they couldn't locate her car key when she reached the airport in West Sussex.

On the other hand, a customer of Galaxy Parking Limited reported that he was billed £6 every time his car went in and out of the Gatwick drop-off area while he was away on vacation.

The BBC has reached out to both companies - who are not affiliated with Gatwick Airport - several times for a statement, but they have not responded yet.

Principal Confirms Tragic Death Of 17-year-old Boy On School Beach Trip

A 17-year-old male passed away while on a school excursion to West Wittering beach.

The principal stated that a 17-year-old boy passed away in a "sad accident" while on a school excursion to the beach.

Emergency responders were alerted to a boy in distress in the waters at West Wittering beach, close to Chichester, at 1:00 PM on Tuesday.

The young person was a member of a delegation from Uxbridge College in London that had traveled to the region for an educational excursion, according to authorities.

He was taken to the hospital by helicopter and unfortunately passed away later on.

94-year-old Former Coronation Street Actress Stars In Movie

Thelma Barlow decided to return to acting after a long break to star in the short film Sleepless in Settle.

One of the most famous actors from Coronation Street decided to return to work at the age of 94 to film a short movie in East Sussex after retiring.

Thelma Barlow, known for her role as the beloved character Mavis for over two decades, is appearing in Sleepless in Settle. The film will be debuting in Rye this Saturday.

The movie was created and guided by actress Judy Flynn who resides in the local area.

Ms. Barlow, currently 95 years old and residing in Faversham, Kent, expressed her enjoyment of shooting in Rye.

Saltdean Lido Closing For Nick Cave Shoot

Saltdean Lido announced that the pool and cafe will be closed for filming on the 1st and 2nd of July.

Saltdean Lido had to shut down for a couple of days because a new TV show, based on a book by Nick Cave, was being filmed there.

A message on social media from the historic Saltdean lido in Brighton announced that it will not be open on July 1st and 2nd due to a "major film shoot taking place".

The swimming pool and coffee shop were not open, but people with season passes could swim from 07:00 to 09:00 BST on both days. It was stated.

The pool announced that they would receive a substantial amount of money from the filming, which they planned to use to improve their facilities, equipment, programs, and staff.
