Openshaw: Man arrested after six injured in suspected hit-and-run
According to police, a man has been taken into custody following an incident where three children and three adults sustained injuries in an alleged hit-and-run accident.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) reported that everyone involved in the crash in Openshaw around 8:30 PM GMT on Tuesday was transported to the hospital.
A representative from the police urged anyone with details about the incident to reach out to them. They mentioned that the car that was part of the accident on Bob Massey Close did not stop afterward.
GMP announced that a man was subsequently taken into custody on charges of inflicting serious harm through reckless driving, attacking a first responder, not stopping when signaled by the police, and having drugs with the intention to distribute them.
