Influencer Breckie Hill responded to speculation suggesting that she was the reason behind the supposed breakup between Barry Keoghan and Sabrina Carpenter.

In a TikTok video posted on Saturday (December 7), the 21-year-old influencer dismissed rumors that the Saltburn actor had been unfaithful to the "Espresso" singer with her ahead of their recently announced split.

To make it clear for everyone, I did not have any sort of relationship with Barry. I’ve never actually met him in person. The only time I’ve seen him is on my TV while watching Saltburn," Hill stated in a video titled, "Clearing things up."

Speculation started when Hill shared Snapchat videos from BOA Steakhouse on November 18, coinciding with Carpenter's performance in Los Angeles that evening.

"I rated the margarita a six out of ten, mentioning that it was a bit too salty for my taste. It seems someone misinterpreted that and assumed I was referencing 'Saltburn' after learning that Barry was lodging at a hotel close to BOA," Hill explained.

She clarified that the claims linking her review of the “Blackberry Smash” cocktail from BOA to the actor were unfounded. “I was simply reviewing a drink named ‘Blackberry Smash,’ and this individual mistakenly assumed it was a reference to Barry,” she explained.

Hill disclosed that she first shared the rumors on Snapchat because she thought they were "absurd." She expressed, "Honestly, if I were involved with Barry, why would I even repost about it? As someone who has been betrayed in a relationship, I would never want to interfere in anyone’s relationship or cause another woman that kind of hurt—absolutely not."

Describing the rumors as "nonsense," Hill mentioned that she had posted on Snapchat while she was recuperating in a hospital after suffering a spinal injury.

The speculation surrounding Snapchat wasn't the sole rumor portraying Hill as the cause of the breakup between the Hollywood power couple. Earlier this week, a mysterious message shared by blind item expert Deux Moi made the rounds on X/Twitter. This message detailed the connection between "an A-list singer enjoying her breakthrough year" and "her overseas boyfriend," which fans quickly figured referred to Carpenter and Keoghan.

The post, named “The Adorable Guy with the Strong Accent Showed Them They Were Right,” talked about a well-known singer who ended her relationship with her foreign actor boyfriend. She found out he had been sending suggestive messages to a somewhat famous blonde influencer from Los Angeles.

The actors haven't responded to the speculation, but Keoghan has since turned off his Instagram account and talked about the hurtful messages he's been getting. "There's only so much I can endure," he posted on X on Saturday.

"I decided to close my account because I can't allow these distractions to interfere with my family and my job anymore," he explained. "The messages I've gotten are something nobody should ever have to see. They’re filled with complete falsehoods, hatred, and vile remarks about my looks, my character, my parenting skills, and every other cruel thing you can think of. It feels like they’re trying to ruin my reputation and everything I've worked so hard for and believe in."

The duo first caught people's attention in December 2023 when they were spotted enjoying a cozy dinner together in Los Angeles. However, their bond is said to have begun several months earlier. They crossed paths during Paris Fashion Week that September while attending a glamorous Givenchy show.

The Oscar nominee was spotted supporting Carpenter during her performance at Coachella last April. Additionally, Keoghan played the role of the singer's romantic partner in the music video for her song "Please Please Please," which was released in June.
